Regularity

Regular lodges follow specific rituals, symbols, and an ethical code that guarantee their legitimacy and continuity with the age-old traditions of Freemasons.

  • 1 Must be legally constituted by a regular Grand Lodge or by 3 or more Union Lodges, each part of a given Grand Lodge.

    G∴L∴A∴F∴A∴M∴B∴G was established with input from the Grand Lodge of Old Free and Accepted Masons of Germany and the assistance of the American-Canadian Grand Lodge of Germany and officially and de jure by the United Grand Lodges of Germany in 1997.

  • 3 Freemasons in its jurisdiction must be men, and its lodges must have no Masonic contact with lodges which admit women as members.

  • 5 All Masons under its jurisdiction must undertake their duties upon or in full understanding of the volume of the Sacred Law (i.e. the Bible) or book which is with

  • 8 It must adhere to the established principles and tenets (the “ancient landmarks”) and customs of the Craft, and insist on their being observed within its lodges.
